The Albion River Inn is located just a few miles North of Fort Bragg, California. Situated along the coastline, this location offers up more than just a pretty view – the accommodations are luxurious, the food is divine and the people who work there are gracious and go out of their way to help in anyway possible.
I had the pleasure of being recommended by Chelsi (wedding & event coordinator at the Inn — Thank YOU Chelsi for the awesome referral!!) to Sheila and Gene a few months prior to their wedding day. We were in contact via email and phone as they live/work out of the area (although they do plan to retire someday to the coast…they even have a 2nd home here!).
They had a very small, intimate wedding weekend planned out – just 20 or so of their friends and family in attendance. Come the day of the wedding I spent most of the morning with Sheila in her suite. It was fairly quiet and oh so peaceful. The ceremony was held on the bluffs with coastal fog drifting in and out, cocktail hour on the grassy lawn and dinner inside the restaurant. The meal was fabulous and the ambiance was warm and loving. You could tell everyone was having a wonderful time celebrating Gene and Sheila’s union together at the Albion River Inn, and I was so fortunate to be there to document it for them.
