I’ve known Clara for a really long time. Our Savannah’s are a year apart and so we were on the birthday circuit together when they were little. I really only know Mike through Clara. He’s a great man and together these two are amazing together. And amazing is right…ten years in the making. Two broken hearts came together and after a few more than just a couple years, they decided to get hitched. What started out as cupcakes with friends turned into a lovely morning ceremony with a few different food stations (oysters, pizza and a taco bar!), something nice to drink, a live band AND cupcakes! Sonya and I decided this was by far the best idea in wedding day celebrations…if your guests traveled a distance for the event, they still have a good half of the day to enjoy themselves. OR if they’re not staying in town, they have plenty of time to drive home. Either way, the early day celebration was FANTASTIC! And I am lucky to have been hired as a gift from Mike’s son Matt to shoot their wedding. And btw, I am shooting Matt and his fiance Shannon’s wedding here in a few months too! I feel like I am already going into that wedding with a headstart now that I spent some time with Matt’s side of the family 🙂 Enjoy your blog post Clara and Mike… and your honeymoon! Love you guys!!
